Security and data handling, honestly stated

We do not claim certifications we have not earned. This page describes how Metis handles your brand data, isolates tenants, and supports compliance workflows.

Data handling

Probe results, knowledge graph entities, content drafts, and billing records are stored in logically isolated customer workspaces. We process data to deliver GEO monitoring and content services — not to train third-party foundation models on your proprietary brand content.

Tenant isolation

Each customer account is scoped by tenant ID. Probe history, competitor benchmarks, knowledge sites, and Content Agent outputs are never commingled across accounts. Team members access only workspaces they are invited to, with role-based permissions on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Bring your own API keys

Where supported, connect your own LLM provider keys for probes and content generation. Usage is metered transparently in the Console billing hub. You retain control over provider spend and can rotate or revoke keys at any time.

GDPR-ready practices

Metis aligns data processing with GDPR principles including purpose limitation, data minimization, and access controls. Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are hosted on the Console. For Data Processing Agreements or privacy inquiries, contact us at legal@microfactor.com.cn.

Encryption & transport

All Console and marketing surfaces are served over HTTPS with TLS 1.2+. Sensitive credentials such as API keys are stored encrypted at rest. Session tokens expire and can be invalidated on password change.

What we do not claim

Metis AI is not SOC 2 Type II certified at this time. We do not display compliance badges we have not independently verified. If your procurement requires specific attestations, contact legal@microfactor.com.cn to discuss current status and roadmap.
